About the Chi Rho
The Chi Rho (☧) is an ancient Christogram, created by combining the first two capital letters of the Greek word "ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ" (Christos), meaning "Christ." This symbol, which superimposes the Greek letters Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ), has been used since the early days of Christianity to represent Jesus Christ and signify devotion to the Messiah.
