The Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, Greece, is home to a renowned icon of Christ Pantocrator, a Greek term meaning "Ruler of All." A cruciform halo encircles his head, often inscribed with the letters "IC XC," an abbreviation for "Jesus Christ" in Greek.
